Beat the winter chill with this one simple trick from Ford!

We may be nearing the end of February here in Oregon and Washington, but we all know that winter is far from over here in the Northwest. And with plenty of rain, sleet, and snow in the weeks to come, most of us are looking for a little relief from the blustery chill that still has its grip on us here in Hermiston, OR and Prosser, WA. Well, luckily Ford knows exactly how you feel during the winter months, which is why it's shared a helpful little video on how to beat back the morning chill.

We all know the frustration that comes with having to scrape the ice and snow off our cars in the morning, but there is an easier way for some. If you can park your vehicle facing east towards the sun, it will help to melt the ice on your car, or at least loosen it and make it easier to scrape. And of course, as you saw in the video, the available windshield wiper de-icer and remote start functions available on many of our newest Ford models can certainly help out too, especially on those cloudy mornings we so often experience in our part of the country.

Winter may be nearing its end, but there's still plenty you can do to make the last few weeks a little more manageable. If you'd like to learn more about how to make sure your Ford vehicle is winter weather ready, or see some of the latest models we have in stock, stop in to Tom Denchel's Ford Country to browse our inventory, and speak to our friendly, knowledgeable sales associates today!
